The Embassy issues travel documents to citizens of the Republic of Moldova abroad, Stateless Persons and foreign citizens permanently residing in the Republic of Moldova, who intend to return to the Republic of Moldova, in the event that:
* lost or stolen passport for travel abroad;
* have a damaged passport that cannot be used;
* have expired passport;
* never had a passport.
To obtain the travel title must be presented:
* application for the issuance of the travel document (form requested from the Embassy);
* two color photos of size 3.5 x 4.5 cm, matte;
* Denunciation (declaration) from the police, in case of loss or theft of the passport.
Whether the original or photocopy of the following documents exists, regardless of their validity and condition:
* ID card of the citizen of the Republic of Moldova and its photo copy;
* passport for foreign travel of the citizen of the Republic of Moldova and its photocopy;
* residence permit of stateless person or foreign citizen permanently residing in the Republic of Moldova and its photocopy;
* any other document with photo (driver's license, military booklet, etc.) and its photocopy;
* the Moldovan birth certificate of the child, in the original (upon request of a travel document for minors). If the child was born in the territory of another country and does not have a Moldovan birth certificate, the translated and legalized birth certificate will be presented.
* The valid identity document (passport/ID card) of the legal representative of the minor and its photocopy (if a travel document for minors is requested);
* if there is, the reservation or the plane ticket, with the final destination Republic of Moldova.
For minors (under the age of 18), the travel document is issued free of charge.
IMPORTANT:
* The travel document is valid for 30 days from the date of issue and cannot be extended.
* The travel document is valid only for one trip with the final mandatory destination - the Republic of Moldova.
